Past DMCC Events

Take a moment to revisit highlights from our 2024 launch event and our 2025 Annual Pre‑Mother’s Day Brunch & Awards Ceremony. We look forward to welcoming you on May 2, 2026 as we honor and celebrate Family Caregivers.

Ambassador Carol Moseley Braun reflects on how caregiving was woven into her upbringing. She recalls watching her family care for one another. You honored your elders, supported your ancestors, and took care of family because that’s what was expected and valued. Her wish for the Dear Me Care Circle is that Wynona continues it, and she hopes that the message of "caring for others" can be spread more.

A daughter’s caregiving journey—full of tears, laughter, and love—honored in a moment she never expected.”

      Founder, Wynona Redmond

In reflecting on the Dear Me Care Circle (DMCC) Inaugural Annual Caregiver Event on April 27, 2024, founder Wynona Redmond shared her personal thoughts. This first Mother’s Day without her mom, she expressed deep gratitude for the legacy her mother, grandmother, and aunts left. She also spoke about moving forward with renewed purpose, committed to building an organization that uplifts and supports Family Caregivers.

      Storytelling, Recognition, and Support

At Dear Me Care Circle, storytelling and recognition are at the heart of our work with family caregivers. We create spaces where caregivers can share their journeys, encourage one another, and feel seen. Our organization is dedicated to positively impacting family caregivers by offering essential resources, emotional support, and community connection. Through this work, we help strengthen families, improve caregiver well‑being, increase community engagement, and build resilience for those who give so much of themselves.
