You made your transition on Independence Day,
With such history & meaning you leave on your way.
Matriarch, mom, cousin, friend,
So much love for Lucy forever & in the end.
You have shown us strength, faith & wisdom,
And now you meet our Lord in his Kingdom.
Yes, we'll cry, we will grieve,
With faith in God, we carry on, we achieve.
We are overwhelmed by all the support, the love,
We know you'll be watching from above.
